Is anyone else having problems with the forum taking so slow to come up or not coming up at all? And what's with the blog? Can anyone tell me the maximum number of charactors I can use in my message? _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

Forget the blog. Are you having problems with the forum coming up slow or not at all at times? _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

Thanks for telling me. I was beginning to think it was on my end only. But, everything is working fine now.
I found out about the blogs and apparently they don't work properly if you copy and paste. _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

The site has been crappy all day. I've given up a few times after getting the CloudFlare message about the site being offline. When it has been working it has been very slow most of the time, sometimes taking several minutes to open a page. _________________ - signature - |

I notice that the forum was offline as well. Hopefully it will be OK now. I bet when problems occur it probably drive you nuts trying to get it up and running. I'm glad I'm not in your shoes. _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

I don't have anything to do with the maintenance of the site; however it does mean that I've spent virtually no time moderating today due to site inaccessibility problems. Can't complain though - If I can't get on to moderate it typically means that members can't get on either, so there are less posts to moderate anyway! _________________ - signature - |

OK. Thanks for setting me straight. I didn't know what the duties of the moderator was other than making sure things run smooth on the posts. _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

We remove posts that break the site rules, break up fights, issue warnings, ban spammers, scammers, sock-puppets and troublesome members. We also move threads to the correct forum if posted to the wrong one. Generally we keep this place from becoming a war-zone or dominated by bullies. _________________ - signature - |

Wow, I bet that really keep you busy. I seen trouble brewing in one of my Topics and requested that it be locked. So it was locked. All I can say is it is a good thing that there are moderators to keep us in line. _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

99% of members we never have any problems with. We are here to moderate the 1% that try to spoil things for the 99%. _________________ - signature - |

I seen sock-puppets too. Wow do I feel dumb, but what the heck is a sock-puppet on a forum? _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.
