It's been awhile since I've done one of these, so I'm not quite sure what to say. I've recently realized that I probably have Asperger's. I'm pretty functional though since I've studied a lot about people, behavior, etc over the years and tried to make an strong effort to act "normal". It's been so helpful to know about Asperger's though. I'm hoping to learn more about it and living with it from the people here. I was diagnosed with Tourette's when I was about 8, but it was only mild and I can pretty much control it now. I have no desire to be professionally diagnosed with Asperger's since it'll just be one more label and one more Dr's visit when I have enough of those already. Right now only one friend and my brother (who has Asperger's too, but not as much as me) know about this, and I'll probably keep it that way for a while. I certainly don't need my parents or the general public knowing! Anyways, that's a little history on me. Looking forward to getting to know people here
