Anyway, I say Italy. Why?
Because of Baloteli ofc, but also because great Pizza and Pasta, and the legendery Francesco Totti which has my dog named after. I litteraly wanna see either Buffon or Casillas get owned.... because it's not fun when the goalkeepers are so good nothing gets through :\
So I know there are lots of Brits in this site so you guys prolly also enjoy this euro (or did until your team was wiped out) because AFAIK Americans have ZERO idea as to what this post is all about. For all Americans I will explain soccer. It's like football, but without the orgy. Savvy?

Football is a total obsession of mine. I wish I had someone to chat about the intricacies of the game. But I suppose no one would listen to my theories of Spain playing 4-5-1 as oppose to playing 4-3-3, and about their lack of width up front. Or about Italy changing from a sweeper formation to a diamond midfield 4-4-2.
Personally I can't find a reason to say any team will win. Even though I watch so much football, I usually get my predictions wrong, but I'm gonna say Italy to win on penalties.
(i hope i didn't give anyone who read that a migraine)

| Umm I just HOPE the game won't just degenerate into one of those bunker games where one team just camps and renders all attacks useless, while giving up on the offensive. Watching those kind of games is boring! Germany lost because it played agressively, relying on speed etc, and didn't just camp so it had a poor defense. Spain indeed have ball control and technique but remember guys, Baloteli is OP (=overpowered). |
