When I was little every time someone called me a name,I would call them an even meaner name and hit them REALLY hard.

Nowadays,it just depends on my mood. I got better insults and comebacks than most of the people who started it anyway. It's funny, actually.

I'd either laugh at them and walk away,I'd give them a piece of my mind,or I would beat them up. I have GREAT strength and speed for a girl my age,AND I have studied boxing,self-sefense,and martial arts for 3-4 years now.

I also don't take crap from people. When I hear someone talk crap about me or hear it from a trusted friend(although it usually has to be more than one person for me to act),I will walk up to that person and tell them off.

Of course, most of them are are pu$$ies,so they'll deny it or try to run away. Stupid people who can't bring their drama on amuse me.

I rarely get that. Occasionally I get people who hurl abuse at me. I ignore them - frankly, they're sad and desperate people. If they persist or they become a real threat they'll end up wishing they hadn't fairly soon.

i cringe and run away and hide. i've been a scapegoat all my life. people are usually offended by me, but i don't know what i did.

right now, i'm awaiting a Dx appointment so i can get social skills training.

although - the issue may be complicated. i think that it's extremely rude for a total stranger to start talking to me. if i let that show, or do something sensible like walk way, they are so totally offended. so i don't know what to do at all. there's no right anwer. Sad

I'm not mistreated all theat much. Sure youv'e got your little idiots who seriously should be diagnosed with "a**hole disorder", but I usually just laugh and walk on. Everyone knows I can defend myself anyway.

I haven't been bullied for a while (save on internet forums), but I got it every day in middle school. I outsmarted them.

Bully: "You're homo!"

Me: "Same? Same what?"

Bully: "I mean you're gay!"

Me: "No I'm not. I've never been attracted to a man before."

Bully: "Your mama's gay!"

Me: "If she was gay then how would I exist? I never would have been born."

Bully: "Well f*ck you!" [Bully walks off looking pissed, comes back the next day]

Bully: "Buck, buck, buck-aw."

Me: (Say nothing)

Bully: "Buck, buck, buck-aw. Chicken!"

Me: "You're the one who's clucking."

Once I got into high school, just about all bullying had stopped. It did happen in middle school quite often. I ignored most of it, laughed at a lot of the rest, and resorted to removing chunks of skin in the case of the most persistant. One loud, detailed accusation of every annoying thing one girl had done to me over the course of two years, followed by what I'm sure would have been an attempt at murder on her friend when that worthy child made an incredibly idiotic comment when I'm finished--really, who provokes a person who is clearly nearly over the brink?--pretty much brought most bullying to a cessation.

I defended myself from bullying with different methods at different times of my life. Nowadays, I don't have the problem at all, although I still don't have any idea of what they say of me outside of school.

In the middle school, I was a bit of a wackjob. At that time, I just got fed up with the bullying and I started to beat people up, beginning with my bullies. And mind you, I did not just use my fist to do it! I remember being in the counselors offiice and I was reading a book on how dictatorships would exploit a person's phobias for interrogation, and with the way my mental condition was at the time, I read it too soon. Bullying soon stopped, but I was then intoxicated with power and I grew more and more paranoid of other people. I was soon moved away from the school by order of my psychiatrist and psychologist and put under extensive medical care.

In the high school, I was never bullied. I attended a school for kids with ADD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc, for a time. I went back to public school, I was still never bullied, though I was still not anyone's favorite person. However, I developed what some would call an alter ego out of the desire to never again have to experience bullying (I'm a very unpleasant or intimidating person inside of school). I can still be a little paranoid but nowadays I can function normally in society. I also have a good number of friends, outside of school of course Smile.

I suggest if you're ever bullied to immediately destroy them, they'll only continue doing it and make life hell. Now as for your comments, yepo you're young.

I usually walk away (more like striding fast) or persist. Don't confuse persist with ignore, ignoring never works in most cases. Also, if you want a non-violent reward, act the victim and have plenty of witnesses who you can call up later. Also, the "Don't mention my name" tactic could work to your advantage, especially if it's a frequent bullier (probably too stupid to remember anyway). I don't think I've ever hit a bully because 1) I'm not strong enough, got bones of glass and paper skin and 2) They'll hit back twice as hard, maybe three if you're lucky.

I hate bullying, but it is true when bullying stops at High School, because the bullies are probably off getting stoned and smoking some weird stuff. Plus, think of how their future will be (Stop-Go sign, anyone?)
