Gospel of Jesus wife
Authentic meaning not recently forged. But it's from the 8th century. There are many stories about Jesus. A group of them were selected for the official canon, contradictory or not, and others were left out. It would be more interesting if it were from the 1st-3rd century. Maybe they'll find an older copy.
most of these christian writings dated from the 4th century and later

From what I understand, Jesus in this incomplete manuscript is possibly defending a female follower against the possible umbrage of one of the male disciples. Other than that, is there anything that specifically names her as Jesus' wife? Jesus after all had been close to Mary Magdalene, and Mary and Martha, all three who could be construed as disciples. And we know from the canonical Gospels that Jesus even stayed over at Mary and Martha's house. But that hardly means any of these three were married to him.

My understanding is that this was a reference to Mary Magdalene. Really irrelevant to me, as I view him as a mere mortal who taught loving kindness and compassion, and didn't know of the hatred that Christian extremists exude in these times.

Those extremists give the good people who attend my church a bad name, just out of association with the same Christian religion.

I use an online church, even though I don't believe in God, I believe in love. There are Liberal leaning churches that are not all whackalicious like these extremists.

I belong to a congregation affiliated with a right-of-center mainline denomination, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. I don't agree with the LCMS' views on gay rights, and they seem to have contradictory ideas about creationism and the age of the earth. It's the good people in my home congregation, many of whom I've known for virtually my whole life, which keeps me there. My pastor and much of my congregation are aware of my somewhat less than Kosher views on some subjects, but don't ever hassle me for it.

The online church I view broadcasts from is based in Springfield Missouri.
Is that the one Homer Simpson attends?
It's possible. I never see the congregation, only the minister, but he is a full fledged human being. in one of those purple smocks religious clergy like to adorn themselves in.
