Hello, I'm Teyverus and I am autistic. This is something completely new to me, as I was just diagnosed late last month. For nearly two years I've suspected I was upon the spectrum, even going so far as to mention my findings to some family members (which didn't turn out so well and I should have seen that coming).

I was tested and found autistic. Ha, I was right! Just because I did some personal research doesn't mean all my facts are bunk.

It feels so good being validated, that my concerns and problems aren't just me "making things up". It wasn't just "overthinking things", I wasn't just being a "hypochondriac" (even though that doesn't make any sense; the definition of the word doesn't match the usage. To which they told me to stop overthinking again.)

Ha ha, douche-tassels, I was right! *flies away!*

Congratulations on your validation. Being surprised at your families reaction is quite autistic of you  .

Welcome, ive always thought that no one knows me more than my self and is likely true for most.it can be hard when people try to rationalize others when they have no idea whats going on.myself i tried to ask family about it and all i got was "you had friends when you were little"and "your just shy"
congrats on your liberation so to speak
