Most of the work I've done from home is related to my profession, so I don't know much outside of that.

But, I did do a little crowdsourcing work a couple years back. Some of it was through an app on my phone and required me to leave the house (GigWalk, there are others like it), but, the one I made the most on was Amazon's Mechanical Turk. You have to get used to the types of work and see what is worth your time, if you search and type fast, you can get in a good amount of them just watching tv or cooking, you could probably do many more 'hits' if you were focused.
