Are there any other Satanists/Left hand practitioners on here and which Demon(s) do you worship? I'm a theistic Satanist and I'm close to Lucifer and Anat.

May I ask if you are monotheistic?

What does it actually mean to be 'close' to Lucifer?

Why? What draws you to what is perceived by many to be the epitome of evil? Is it just the physical image? Do you take pleasure in the suffering of others?

No I'm Polytheistic I worship Lucifer (The defiant angel and Emperor of Hell), Satan (The Prince of the inner predator), Belial (The hedonistic prince), Leviathan (The esoteric prince) and Anat (The Vampiric goddess) mainly but I give homage to other Dark ones in certain situations.

Close in that context means worshipping but not in a passive manner that the Abrahmic faiths do.

1) Why: Because I have been getting the urge for years and I researched more about Satanism and the Occult and just felt right.
2) Evil?: Well it depends on your perspective on it all, in the bible god kills entire civilisations because they didn't fit in his image, he let his "son" get crucified, he abandoned Adam and Eve for eating an apple (which was symbolism for knowledge), etc while Lucifer didn't kill anyone he only tempted.
3) Physical image?: No I look like an ordinary guy the only evidence on my person is a Baphomet (The Black goat) pendant my worship is far deeper than the surface.
4) Do I take pleasure in the suffering of others?: Well I've got a dark sense of humour but that's not connected to my worship.

Hope that answers your question.

is Satan a deity?

how much power do you believe he has?

Are Satan and Lucifer the same individual or are they different?

Is Satan part of the Universe in a Physics sense?

Used to be, but I guess i felt limited since it still ends up being tied to monotheistic christianity not so sure there is like the christian god vs. the devil for instance, but I still think there are entities....and that it is also possible for them to interact with the physical world....but there is nothing very definite about my current beliefs I just know there are some entetites with positive energy, some with negative energy but I don't attach it to any specific belief currently. I find occult sort of stuff interesting and of course demons/spiritual entities and what not are an interesting topic.

1) Deity: Yes

2) How much power: Satan like other Demons/Demonesses are hyper intelligent, great speed, mighty strength, immortality, etc but has the extra power over fire and faster/stronger than lower ranks.

3) Satan and Lucifer the same: Personally no but just like the Egyptian deities (who I also worship) they can temporarily merge: Lucifer-Satan.

4) Is he part of the universe: As Satan's element is fire he can manifest in fire and red light.

Exactly, and this example shows how Satan is capable of using glowing red metal wires inside a toaster as a portal into our dimension:

I don't worship him but I know about him he's the main figure in Yazidi mythology and his story is similar to Lucifer's.

Not anymore but as a teenager I was pretty close to uncle Lucy as I used to call a demon that appeared in my dreams almost everynight. He was telling me to be confident because I am a demon too therefore I am stronger and smarter than most people so they can't do anything bad to me and I could easily hurt them if I wanted (but I never wanted this). So I become confident. I still am even though the dreams are gone now and I consider them just dreams and nothing more.

Does it count?
Perhaps the dreams were true and you should worship me as a demon too? After all Lucifer himself told me I am one!

First off, The left handed path of spiritual enlightenment really worships no deity, or 'master', such as it may be. While there may be 'Horror Film' trappings, they are purely for aesthetic purposes only. --Whatever floats your boat, so to speak.

Secondly, The left handed path is not just Satanism or any 'Anti Christians'; Taoism is a very good example of a mainstream 'Left handed path'.

the luciferian philosophy is of interest to me as are a few other philosophies also, i don't take anything 100% literal though, i try to keep an open mind and form my own view by piecing things together, a lot of people may think of it as bad but those same people probably have no clue what it even is and have been highly misinformed on the subject by people with specific agendas

Insteresting post. I have never considered studying the devil. I do know that in a polarity way, I'm a negative element, and I got some bad traits, like not having empathy and being pretty narcissistic. When you said that it felt right, are you talking about world making sense ?
From where I should start if I want to learn more about it ? So far I know just the basic
