ouch sucks now,the bbc removed the heart of it when they closed the community to save money to pay for more crap repeats of ancient tv shows.

the first part of that blog post states a highly common misbelief that einstein was believed to be aspergan, if he had been on the autistic spectrum he woud never have been diagnosed under aspergers because he had a very significant speech delay, that woud have had him diagnosed as classic autistic not aspergan but people always place him as aspergers because of his success and functioning, lots of classic autistics are successful and/or high functioning; eg temple grandin, stephen wiltshire, tito mukhopadhyay.

Wow you're up early/late :P I think that the article isnt all that bad. I didnt know that Einstein had a speech delay! It was a pretty standardised portrait . cookie cutter stuff. I wouldnt say it sucked though (if you were referring to the article itself)

Oh Mukhopadhyay is an awesome name. Pad Yaiieee :-p

The article states that some believe Einstien was Aspie which is factual. This is what I could find about Einsteien's early speech as his "Autism" in general. http://www.albert-einstein.org/article_handicap.html. As for the BBC article it points out that savant syndrome is not autistic. I have never seen "double bind empathy" or any acknowledgement that the mainstream plays a role in lack of functioning in a mainstream article before. And it was written by an "Aspie" what a concept
