I loved all of them, including the Amazing Spider-man 2. Sure it had it's glitches mostly for me, the generic portrayal of Electro, but in all fairness I do consider this and it's 2012 predecessor superior to the Sam Raimi movies which I use to love a lot back in the day, but in all honesty (and this is just my opinion) I think those films are really flawed and goofy and I really hate the cocktease romance between Peter and MJ. Now Peter and Gwen, that's a love story done right, at least compared to the Peter and MJ love story. I do still like those movies but in a completely different way. They're just goofy silly enjoyable movies which do still hit some bullseyes but to say that Spider-man 2 is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made doesn't work for me. I may consider that one as my favourite of the originals as I have back in the old days but it's still a flawed movie and I think the love story in that movie was my least favourite. Can't really explain why but I'm rambling on and I'm starting to think that I may have just done this to express my feelings about the Amazing Spider-man 2. Just one more thing to add. While the original 2002 movie may not be my favourite or even my second favourite, I will say I sort of have respect for it for being the movie that launched the existence of many more superhero movies.

Anyway, here are the 4 movies listed the way I might like them. I may change my mind in the future.

1) X-Men: Days of Future Past
2) Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3) Guardians of the Galaxy
4) The Amazing Spider-man 2

Though I haven't read any of the Guardians comics, I think The Guardians of the Galaxy is my number one Marvel movie of the year.

The only one I've seen any of is the amazing spiderman 2, and I walked out of that one not even 10 minutes in due to insane logical flaws.

I'm sure my favorite will end up being Guardians of the Galaxy.. If not then Captain America. Never was a huge x-men fan but I wouldn't rule it out completely.

I've seen all of them and enjoyed watching all of them.

Question to Everyone: What upcoming MARVEL movies are you looking forward to the most?

OK let's get this straight: Fox and Sony films aren't really Marvel films, they're just films made using Marvel characters. Spider Man, X Men and the Fantastic Four don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as everyone else.

For me, Captain America was better than Guardians, but not a lot better - both were excellent. Phase 2 has generally been excellent, even Thor 2 was better than MoS or AS2.

(I didn't go to see X Men because I was boycotting it. I was boycotting Spider Man too, but my friends convinced me to break that boycott)

@ Walrus: From what I've read, 20th Century Fox is playing chicken with the film rights to the Fantastic Four franchise, but Fox has done a relatively good job with the X-Men franchise. Same with Sony and the Spider-Man franchise.

This is a rough question, though it's a tie between X-Men and Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Despite the things that Bryan Singer may have done, I still love X-Men: Days of Future Past. I mean is that OK or am I worse than Hitler?

I haven't seen Captain America, but my favorite would be Guardians of the Galaxy. I went to see it with my dad and brother and it was a pretty good balance of silly and action, but long enough that I zoned out sometime during the middle and started paying attention again at the end. I'd rather be watching other sci-fi.

Marvel not having the rights to their own films (due to the stupidity of previous executives) means that some of their most iconic characters - including their two most famous characters, Spider Man and Wolverine - cannot appear in the MCU. The only way Marvel will regain those rights is if the studios give them up, and that will only happen if we stop going to see their films.

Yes. I know some X Men films have been disappointing but I'm also sure the latest one was really good, and it seems Sony have big plans for Spider Man (although their early rebooting has annoyed me no end - if they needed to recast then they could have at least killed Peter and let Miles take over). I just want to see AvX come to screen, Spidey and Wolverine in The Avengers, a proper Deadpool movie, etc.
