I am allergic to insect bites (particularly mosquito bites). My allergic reaction was really bad when I was younger. One time I got bitten on the ankle. It swelled up so bad my mom thought I had broken it. I used to take periactin. For some reason, it's not as bad now.

I'm also very sensitive to bug bites. I got stung by a bee in my head twice and I felt sick for a few days afterwards. I also had spider bites a few winters ago and they swelled up to the size of plums. The mosquito bites I get swell up to the size of grapes. I mean in diameter, not in thickness.

Yep. Mosquitoes LOVE me. I could be sitting amongst a whole bunch of people, and I'll be the only one to get bitten. I don't get little bumps from the bites, but big itchy welts. And sand gnats are my worst enemy -- I get big welts that itch and spread far past the size of the original bite, some the size of a quarter. I have scars on my legs and arms from scratching my bites until I bleed and make sores.

Go as far as you can see. When you get there, you will see farther.

It sometimes feels like I got slightly scorched with a bunsen burner when a mosquito bites me, it's totally hell. Especially the mosquitoes with white stripes.

yes, extremely sensitive to bug bites to,its the swelling and itching that really goes crazy.
am also all allergic to bees or wasps [not sure which one it was] but not to the point that need an epipen, got stung twice by one of them;the sting didnt stay in so they did it again further up that was weird;felt like arm was going to fall off ended up in an NHS walk in centre necking a extra anti histamine.

anyway, for all of those who have been stung by bees/wasps, the jokes on them as their innards aparently fall out with the sting so they die a horrible death, poor buggers.

Nah

I'm fairly insensitive to bites, cuts and burns. Though I'm sensitive to touch. Kinda funny that.

Yes, to mosquitoes in particular, the bites turn into big itchy welts.

Yes - and I seem to attract them as well. Go out for a walk with my wife and the mosquitos are eating me alive and leaving her alone. She tells me I might have sweet blood - I just give her a not happy look as it's hard to laugh when you're being eaten alive.

Yes, when I get bitten by mosquitos the bites are like welts and they seem to drive me crazier with itching more than other people. The itching is intense and distracting. I've never been around anyone who didn't think I was just being dramatic, but it's real for me. The itching also goes on for days. I'm forgetful about using things like Benadryl -- I'm one of those people who barely remembers I can take something for a headache if I just open the cabinet. :?
