As of late, I've been feeling as if I'll never find true love. That there's no one meant for me. That God has forgotten someone for me. I do find this a little depressing. But not very much so. It's like this has become the truth and I'm accepting it. I'm starting to believe this. Perhaps this is just because I've been single for well past a decade. But this is how I'm feeling. Not sure what I should do about this.

So you agree that there isn't someone out there and I will forever be single? Or are you just commenting on the God portion?

If it's the latter, that's not what I am discussing or will debate.

http://godisimaginary.com/ hes not perfect regardless of him claiming to be but since there is no proof of his existence then it is rather invalid! If he exist he isnt perfect if he knew satan was going to be evil then why did he create him? Why didn he so called create the tree of knowledge? he planned it all out for his sadistic entertainent! But since man and dinosaur never walked side by side with the fossil and geologic record proving this Adam and Eve never happened!

Come on, a self defeatist attitude isn't the way to go, the universe owes you nothing and neither do women. You have to take what you want, just take it, envision the steps you need to take towards a positive change and positive people will gravitate towards you.

There is someone for everyone out there, there's more single women over men. How many people have you approached in the past year?

That's only true if jaje85 is willing to date much older women.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... _sex_ratio

Sex ratio by country for total population. Red represents more women, blue more men than the world average of 1.01 males/female.

For Canada, he didn't lol.

I think it starts with '55 to 64'. Target this age range.

Can we just once have a thread that mentions God without someone going "LOL there's no god." The OP didn't ask if there was or wasn't.

Indeed; completely off topic.

Meanwhile, yes, He did what he could to find you friends and possible partners ... He made you to act on your own behalf. But, that doesn't mean you would be alone in your pursuits. He'll help. Good luck!

With how many variables there are in life, I highly doubt that there being a 1:1 ratio is at all likely, god or not.

Maybe god created dinosaurs the same day as the other reptiles.(i.e. before humans)

My own life proves that theory! I have been single for the last 15 years. As the King of the Hill said, "Yeah, the first four or five years are the worst." Can't say that I mind too much anymore, though. Still, I have moments when I wonder the same thing as the OP. In my more cynical moments, I realize that I know few people with whom I would want to share five minutes, let alone a partnership or marriage. But, that is my choice.

There's someone for every one and some people have multiple partners or wives. You just have to get out there and talk to women.

If there was someone for everyone, there wouldn't be people who die alone. Never mind those who are asexual or who don't care to have a partner, etc. This idea is extremely shortsighted and nothing more than wishful thinking.
