It seems that such a title implies that there is something wrong with having Asperger's. Yes, aspergers creates a lot of hassles in one's life. However, as a community, we are more creative and intelligent than the NT community.
Is it that we are from the right planet (metaphorically speaking) and are marooned on a wrong planet?

We are not wrong. We just were born on wrong planet. We are aliens on the NT dominated planet Earth. At least that's how I understand it.

It's probably because we feel so different from the world around us that we almost feel like we have born on the wrong one.
I like it.

This planet was not designed for us.

It does not imply anything wrong with us, but with the planet.

Hence "Wrong Planet" not "Wrong People"

I agree.. Maybe someday, apart from feminist and anti racial movements, neurodiversity should be promoted, so that everyone who becomes a minority due to their way of thinking be treated equally.

Exactly. We're awesome, but we're just a bad match with the planet.

Out of the horse's mouth, about 1:50 minutes in:

He named the site WrongPlanet, because he felt he was on the wrong planet.

ACTUALLY... We have the same iq spread as the NTs... We are no more or less intelligent than they.

Well, Asperger syndrome specifically gets a cut off mark at about 80, I think. It was a criterium to be of average or above average intelligence in order to be diagnosed with Asperger's.

The entire autistic spectrum taken as a whole, though, you're right that it covers the entire IQ range. I do disagree with wittgenstein that autistics are more creative or intelligent than the rest of the population.

But then again, put a bunch of top tier gifted people in an organisation like Mensa, and what have they accomplished, really?

Indeed...

BUT... an individual with an IQ below 80 is not an NT. They are considered to have a pervasive developmental disorder. Therefore, their cut off is about the same as ours.
