Have you ever had one of those dreams which seemed to solve some world issue?

I've had two, that I can remember having - one on the meaning/purpose of life, and one on a new system of governance. Both seemed logical in their simplicity, recalling the old idea that it's often the simplest solution that works best. But I can't remember the damn details.

I know, I know.. dreams vs reality. If I did remember either dream, I'm sure they wouldn't be so apt in the cold light of day. But it does spur on the idea that something more ideal could be found. I've heard it said that democracy, as flawed as it is, is the best we have, so far, and that someday someone will come up with something better. Looking at the 'Political Ideology' thread made me wonder if we need to think outside those boxes.

But to the original question, I'm curious about the inventiveness of dreams. Has anybody had such a dream, remembered or not?
