Cross trainers are one piece of gym equipment that I?ve never used with success. I have to focus intensely the entire time on coordinating and direction, when I stand on the ground I get instant queasiness leading to motion sickness. Do coordination issues like this happen to anyone else in the gym?

I cannot use cross trainers. I can't use treadmills either. I am really uncoordinated in certain things, but I'm really good at other things. I stick to the bike and rowing machine.

Thanks for the reply, a personal trainer suggested using a xtrainer as part of a workout but Ill use the rowing machine and treadmill instead, except for slight lightheadedness it doesnt effect me.

I have the same problem! I hate cross-trainers. I have to concentrate really hard on the movements, it confuses me, and I end up moving something wrong and if you do that and stop suddenly you hurt yourself or even worse, fall off entirely. :(

I also don't like using the treadmill because whilst I am ok on it, as soon as I come off I get very dizzy for awhile. Like it feels like the floor of the room is a treadmill.

I avoid both when I go to the gym.
