I am a 21 year-old man who was diagnosed with AS this past Monday. My therapist recommended I check out this website, so here I am.

My introduction was a bit lacking, wasn't it? I'm currently working on a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and gaming. Pretty vanilla stuff. I hate talking about myself, as you can see.

Do you want to be a Transitions Counselor for people on the Spectrum who are on the cusp of adulthood?

I'm considering this sort of career myself.

I'm not sure which population I'd like to work with. After all, it was only this past Monday that I learned I wasn't neurotypical. But Transition Counseling certainly sounds interesting.

By the way, how do you quote text short of literally copying and pasting it? Is there a specific mechanic for that?

There ought to be a "quote" button in the top right of every post, and clicking it will create a post that includes the text of the post you quoted. In said screen, you can select what text you wish to reproduce.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. And yes, it is! It's the moniker given by critics to the unnamed narrator in that novel, which I consider my favorite.

No problem! I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I've never actually read "Notes", but it's definitely on my list, along with pretty much everything else Mr. D has ever written.
