I have a fairly nihilistic view on Humanity, it seems that the smart are oppressed by the thugs and civilisation is gradually becoming an idiocracy which makes me more apathetic towards people.

Anyone out there with the same mind frame?

I'm not saddened by this it simply is

Oh yeah. Idiocracy is my favorite documentary :P. But seriously, it's tough, because I really don't want to be alone and particularly do want a romantic relationship of some kind...but the more I get to understand people the more disdain I have for them. I think a big part of it is that we value personal happiness above all else, but happy people have no reason to think critically, which of course leads to a gradually dumbed down species. Overall, I view us as extremely short-sighted creatures with a profoundly narcissistic God complex. We were given such gifts, and we have actively squandered them at every single opportunity. There are certain individuals I really like, but our species as a whole? I just don't have the patience to deal with most people anymore.

The common hairless ground ape is a pest.
