I can't love anybody. Not even my parents and sister. There simply is no love to give. None.

Yeah kinda same here. No feelings, but learn how to socialize and hit on chicks, get laid, and try and have fun.

once you understand that love is a chemical reaction caused by certain stimuli you start to understand that "Love" the concept that society teaches is not real.

you don't feel love but enjoyment and fulfillment and you chase your whole life for that feeling again. that is why falling in love is much better than being married.

I don't really feel love for my family either but I never had a close relationship with them. I do however feel love for my girlfriend, two exes, & a former crush but I don't feel love for anyone else

I'm the opposite, I have trouble not loving. Loving comes naturally to me. The person I have difficulty loving is myself.

if you can't love, just do your best to be fair to people. it will keep you from being callous.

I think many guys would kill to not be able to love.

I don't think that is a logical conclusion.

It's true that the first steps (falling in love and having a crush on somebody) are much more enjoyable, but they have drawbacks as well, like obsessions and bad judgement. I'd say it is the intent that it should be like that. That doesn't mean that long marriages are worthless. They have things that a crush doesn't have, like stability and reliability.

In regards to having time for my interests, I think a marriage is so much better than a crush, as the latter takes a lot of the focus off from everything else and makes you kind of obsessive towards the object of the crush.

i do not really love people. i do have love in me, but i never see anything to attach it to other than animals. animals are like my children. people are like dangerous beings from the hills that threaten my peaceful existence.

i did love my parents because i liked them being alive.

i do love tammy because i just do, but apart from that, i have not much interest in people.

why? would they also kill to be socially inhibited and alone? and badly adjusted to the world? All of those come in the package, and you can't discard them.

Because the more love is not reciprocated, the more annoying it is. That's why.

They're foolish to desire it. Foolish fools who don't even realize that what they insist will make things better will actually only make things even worse. Unrequited love sucks thoroughly, but being incapable of having feelings and attachments towards others is a much more troubling feeling.

The ability to love others is something people take for granted. A life without it is just a life with one fewer potential source of fulfilment.

Are you certain it isn't just that you are incapable of displaying love in a way your family can understand?

I don't think so.
