So does anyone else have really bad communication skills. I have been told that when i open up to people i am actually quite funny and i used to be much more social. After i entered high school i started keeping to myself and haven't made any friends except for this guy that i know from my sped ed class. I really want to be more social but every time i try to talk to someone i always get severe anxiety and end up just being real quiet. I'm always afraid i am gonna say something that is going to piss them off. So does anyone have any advice as to how i could overcome anxiety without medication? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty "bad" at socializing, but I still talk to a lot of people and make friends, without meds, drugs, alcohol. Just talk, gets easier the more you talk. If thats what you want to do, then do it

I would join a club which reflects what you are interested in, and go from there.

I just joined philosophy club so I'm hoping that will help. Thank you for the advice.
