I do this alot of times I have this habit sometimes it happens certain times of the day where I will be talking having a conversation to someone and suddenly my voice becomes very droney and suddenly I start talking under my breath really quietly like I'm talking to someone else a completly different conversation then I say nothing for about five minutes and then carry on with what I was talking about before does anyone do that is another trait of some kind?

It could be a tendency some of us have. I do it unconciously from time to time. Never knew till I was told by others.

Are you repeating something, or reciting lines from a movie or something? I notice that my son does that a lot. He either recites the lines from movies or repeats something. I read something about that having to do with autism or echolalia, but he doesn't ever repeat anything out loud.

Sometimes it's a conversation I had with someone else. But reciting lines I used to do when I was a kid haven't done that since I was about 11 years old. Ten years ago now. Sometimes what I say under my breath is gibberish.

Yeah, he does repeat conversations he's had as well. I'm not sure about the gibberish, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does that too. I definitely did read something about that having to do with the AS, though.

p.s.
Have you ever thought about going into acting? I often thought that when my son gets older, he could be a great actor because he can memorize dialogues from whole stories and movies verbatim.

Already done some acting before at college. I did a play set in a school I played the bad guy which was a teacher who liked hitting the students. I don't about a career though.

I do this too.

Regarding acting, having acting lessons really helped me, but I don't think I could cope with it as a career because of the lack of job security.

If I was an actor and I was doing something like a Soap Opera 1 I'll be stressed constantly with the schedules meaning overload/meltdown in front of the camera.
2. I would be the sort of person who would reveal all the storylines.

Yeah I do this. In fact I do talk to myself and it is something I am OK with on an intellectual level but it is not socially responsible. It draws the attention that requires an honest explaination which in my environment is worth avoiding.
