I may be a Republican, but this is still funny. I hope that Paris Hilton and the United Nations are biggest Winners.

Thanks for the link, Sean. That was funny!

The one of the best parts: '...President George W. Bush who is nominated in three categories - stupidest man of the year, stupidest statement of the year, and stupidity award for reckless endangerment of the planet.' He is definitely deserving of all of those nominations.

The other best part: 'They never stop thinking of ways of harming America, and neither do we.' - U.S. President George W. Bush Finally he decides to tell the truth!

In Australia, Big Brother TV show should get a nomination for Stupidity of the year award.

Quote:
Bush dominated last year's awards, taking the stupidest man prize and the award for reckless endangerment of the planet. Nerenberg admitted the organizers do limit the number of categories featuring the controversial Texan.

"He would essentially be nominated in every category had we not interfered," Nerenberg said. "We want to give other people a chance. We just feel some of the other great stupidity in the world would go unrecognized if Mr. Bush was allowed to run rampant. But he is doing very well."

Well they did announce the winners:
http://www.stupidityawards.com/winners.html

Canada Wins!
Paris wins 2!
GW wins for his words of wisdom.

And the Stupidity Awards show itself won.
I think the Golden Globes should of won for Awards because they suck. They hype the winners as if they are the frontrunners to the Oscars...

ONLY TO NOT WIN!

And besides they give little attention to the TV sector anyways.

Well, the whole controversy (better discussed in the politics, philosophy and religion forum) might just give my vote to Canada. Wink
