| I need some female advice, especially if you enjoy getting your nails done. I have a potential interview with the owner of a new nail salon that opened up in my town for a weekly suburban newsletter. I don't know anything about nail polish except that it is wet and if you swallow it, you will die. Ladies, what would you want to know about a new nail salon that opened up in town? |

Well...
1.How good they are
2.if they clean thier utensils
3.If the place is clean
And that's all I can think of...

You're asking questions in order to write something to put in the newsletter, right?
Why would a woman want to have her nails done? (just because it's pretty? is it healthful? theraputic? as a man you can ask those questions)
How long does it take?
Are there different styles to be considered?
What does it cost?
How long does a manicure last? How often do customers have to come back?
Who preforms the manicures and how are they trained?
Why was this location chosen?
What are the methods of sanitizing the instruments, and what else is done to prevent contamination and spread of disease?
Why did you decide to offer this service?
Who would you recommend come in for services in this manicure salon? |

| I don't know, as I've never had my nails done. Most nail polish feels weird to me, like my fingers are heavy and my nails are suffocating. |

Exactly the same for me! I "can't" wear nail polish for those very reasons. |

I thought I was the only one who could "feel" polish on my nails! When I mention this to people, they look at me like I'm nuts...wait, they do that anyway. _________________ .see I've already waited too long, and all my hope is gone. |

I would just look FREAKY with any kind of nailpolish on. I have tried in the past for shits and giggles and it feels AWEFUL. I really don't know why ladies often get their nails done except that they don't mind the feel, it makes them feel prettier, guys might like it, or they get totally bored and feel like painting a part of their body.
But I have heard it isn't healthy for the nails anyways. _________________ Autism Speaks: The Walmart of the 501c's.

I also thought I was the only one who found nail polish uncomfortable!
I think computerwidow had some really good questions. |
