I can say that my relationship with my biological
parents is non-existent. A dad who is 62 and
hasn't even seen his grandkids from my sister.
A mother who is 59 and doesn't really connect
with her own son she hasn't raised as well for
37 years. My family was my Grandmother
and her 2nd husband. I call my grandmother mom!

Oh, yeah; it describes it perfectly.
My parents' parenting style throughout my childhood can be described in 11 lines of C++ code.
In other words, it was extremely mechanical.
If you can read computer code, read the following for a good laugh.
