I think this is one of the worst feelings. I am feeling it right now. I think it's nervousness, anyway, but who knows. Maybe I am just feeling a little down...???

When I try to think of what I could do to alleviate the bad feeling, nothing sounds quite right. I mean, it's a Saturday night, tomorrow I can do whatever I want, what do I have to be nervous about? I can't figure out how it starts, but I get like this every now and then.

Do you ever feel that way? Unsettled and nervous for no reason?

I do. Sometimes, it helps to make a list of what's bothering you. Or just write down everything that occurs to you. I find this calming.

I can relate it, I get this from time to time. Out of the blue I get nervous for no apparent reason. I don't like it when it happens.

Sometimes when I try to pinpoint my source of nervousness I come up empty.

I still get like that randomly, even though I'm on meds for it . . . But it doesn't happen nearly as often.

i find daily exercise makes it go way. sitting around at home too long makes it worse - it may seem like theres relief in messing about on the PC for long periods as a distraction, but it can come back worse the next day imo.

I used to get inexplicable nervous feelings / panic attacks when I was a child. Self-medicated with alcohol in my early 20s. Then stopped drinking and haven't had any for many years now, helped in part by attending 12 step group for that (drinking).

I do. It's what's been left behind from my panic attack days. I take meds now and have really worked hard to go out and do more to make myself better. I still get moments of anxiousness though.

Yes, in public mostly. When I'm not even interacting with anybody and just minding my own business, suddenly I get really nervous and start blushing. I have no clue what causes it, I look around try to figure out why I feel like this but come up with no answers. Just an inexplicable rush of anxiety and embarassment and a little bit of guilt.

It seems irrational anxiety and guilt is quite a common trait in AS. It's almost as if there's an
'anxiety looking for a cause'. When it happens to me I try to look at the bigger picture and
count my blessings in order to counteract the negative thoughts.

I just gave an former neighbor my new address, because she wanted to send me an invitation to some event, and now I am paranoid and regretting it. There used to be some really unpleasant people that lived at my former address, and although I know she doesn't get along with them, I'm afraid that she will tell them where I live. :?
