I am calmed/comforted by the following i love soft silky straps and restrainy thingies!(see http://bodypoint.com) tight warm things and places, deep pressure, sensory deprivation, being mummy wrapped, extremely tight hugs, blood pressure cuffs.

those are all my favorite sensations... blood pressure cuffs are up there because its squeezey Very Happy
the straps/restrainy thingies are up there... i dont know why... i just find it comforting and calming for some reason....

i am doing this so i can find out what people like and maybe find someone who is similar to me...

I like all kinds of hugs. I like that deep pressure (as well as light pressure).

I don't know about restraints, but I like having warm sand poured over me or something, so I'm partially buried. That feels great... Smile

I like the feel of velor.

I like being hugged.

I like cotton clothing.

I like a light breeze, and maybe a little rain touching my skin.

Ooh I bet i would find that quite calming for me too.
the restraints thing is pretty unique. Certain autistics may like being restrained and in fact in elementary school I for some reason intentionally acted up physically for restraint. The restraints pictured in my list are what will be coming on my new wheelchair for a few reasons 1. My muscles are extremely weak so I can't hold myself up very well 2 (not an official reason) because I find it awfully comforting and calming.

For more info about me and the new wheelchair check out my website at http://www.alinssite.info

What is velor

I love hugs but they must be very tight

Not really in for cotton. I love neoprene though!!!

I get cold extremely easy so breezes and rain are out of question

i get cold extremely easy I have never tried the fine mesh thing but don't think I would fare well because of how thermally sensitive I am. I love hugs. Nor have I been mummy wrapped yet but I know I'd love it because from what i hear its like an immobilizingly tight hug all over you! I want i want! Hope to hear again from you

Same here. I stopped mummy wrapping myself in bed though cuz I hate remaking it. Though, I keep about 5 layers of blankets and at least three pillows; two to rest my head on, one to put over my eyes.

Soft fleece pajamas. Soft flannel shirts. I like having my back rubbed. But hate having my feet touched in any way. I like having my head stroked softly. Soft feathery kisses all over my face.

I like heavy blankets no matter what time of year. I compromise for husband's sake. Mink blanket on my side in winter and lighter weight down comforter in summer. No cover sheets please, can't stand them. I'm a tosser, so light weight things like sheets tend to end up wrapped around uncomfortable places like feet and necks.

Soft corduroy pants or long skirts, no jeans please.

Medium hugs. Like to have my back popped in the mornings. Like cuddling under the covers first thing in the morning but can't often stand most other contact.

again i love pretty much anything soft. but i dont like flannel for some reason... my back i cant get rubbed because scoliosis o_O and i CANT STAND GETTING MY FEET TOUCHED... STAY AWAY FROM MY FEET!!! i like having my head squished and squeezed, and i like heavy full on slobbery warm wet kisses! i dont like heavy blankets unless its like a lead apron at the dental office, a lot of blankets arent heavy enough for me and are irritating. i wish i could get a 20 pound blanket Sad anyways screw cover sheets too! cant stand corduroy that much, i like really soft fabrics... one of my favorites is neoprene... i wish my whole wardrobe were nice tight neoprene.. so comforting i love the way it hugs all over... medium hugs are ok, light ones FORGET IT!!! i LOVE EXTREMELY TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT hugs. back popping not allowd with scoliosis.
