Why not: The online resource and community for those with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

Why exclude those with High Functioning Autism or an PDD-Nos (Pervasive Decelopmental Disorder - not otherwise specified)? The borders of all ASD-disorders are not clear, in fact specialists do not agree as to wether Asperger syndrome should be an own diagnose. They do agree that all ASD-disorders are closely related and occure from the same defiencies in the brain.

That is a good question and one that we should get Alex to answer when he returns after getting settled at college.

I agree as well; there are practically no boundries to the autistic spectrum. Asperger's Syndrome is just one of many autistic spectrum disorders, and it's very interconnected with other ASD's. It's a very interesting question snaive.
