Here's mine:
Whenever I watch TV, go on the computer, or something like that, I always seem to memorize the work and get the work done much faster while I'm studying/doing homework.

I have to write papers/study for tests at the last minute to do well, and the morning before I cannot eat much at all. I do best when I'm running on a cookie and a glass of orange juice.
The ideal paper for me goes like this: start it at 10:00 PM the night before, do something else after a half hour, come back to it at midnight, finish it up by 2:30, go to sleep, wake up, make a last minute adjustment five minutes before I get in my car, drive to school, turn it in. |

| i study the day before under lots of pressure with caffeine (as well as methylphenidate now) but i'd like to get out of that habbit and actually study before that. other than that, i usually have music playing, it helps to drown out other sounds and it gives me something to concentrate on when i need a break. |

I don't study. I do fine on the tests. I have a really good memory, but I have to be in a certain state of mind to record the information properly. Otherwise... it fails.

Yes. Do homework during an all-nighter the night before turning it in and don't study except on very sporadic occasions the night before a difficult test.

And I only study during emergencies (in the same environment as with homework) |

I have never once in my life studied. When I do homework, I usually listen to music while I am doing it. I do not need to study, I can instantly recall almost anything I have learned when prompted. I do not usually do homework, though, since I am extremely lazy and hate writing manually.

Same. And I always have to write them in a particular way, too- I start a draft on the computer, print it out, and write on it like crazy the next day in school. Then that night I type the handwritten stuff up and add more to it, then print it out and do the same thing to next day, and so on. If I try to do it any other way, it ends up horribly.

me too. but I'm also with vexcalibur and lonely lady...I put off studying/homework until the last minute. I seem to only be able to work under pressure. |
