The SPCA is a non-profit organization in San Francisco that protects, nutures, and cares for homeless animals like cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, you name it!

I signed up to be a cat volunteer awhile ago and today was the first day on the job. I was wondering if I would get scared out of my mind, because I do have a social phobic moments.

When anyonumous people came in the shelter, I actualy ended up being the one asking them if they wanted to see a cat! Most of them said no, they were just looking, but others did come into the cat condos (yes, the SPCA has decent sized condos for the furry little guys! ^_^) Then next thing I knew, floods of people came in to ask me to see certain animals. It was fantastic, I didn't even break a sweat! After it was over, I could feel myself beaming Wink

It's an awesome job, if any of you want to volunteer with animals or to get community service credits for HS.

So, enough about me, do you guys have any volunteer jobs? Or a real job?

That's great Very Happy
I used to volunteer working with animals as well...but it was at the cattery at the vet clinic.
I want to volunteer for the SPCA but where I am, you have to be 18 so I have to wait a couple more years.

I don't have a job now, or volunteer job.
