Well, I am not depressed, and I would be unsure why you are, but I have AS, and ADHD. This, is a combination that I take delight in. In fact, I am so bold as to say, 'aspergers syndrome' is an incorrect term.

Nothing against the poster (I suppose he/she doesn't have much experience on forums) but when you make several threads with similar topics it's considered spam, and it's quite annoying. Could a person here with moderator permissions please merge the topics or something?
And in response to your post:
1. You obviously know you're not the only one with Aspergers if you're here.
2. A lot of people have no friends.

Except for me, I found out I had Aspergers when I was really young, & thus grew up knowing there were others like me.............when I didn't know yet, i was so young, I actually thought I was like everyone else........(if my memory from 5 years old's correct, considering I'm a teenager...........) |

I'm AS, I'm severely depressed, and I had no friends my entire life until I got a job.
School-wise, I've never had friends.

I have AS.
I am severly depressed - I am mentally unstable according to my doctor.
But I do have friends... only two or three, but good friends. |

1. If you were the only one with AS, there would not be a AS site for many people with AS to unite.
2. No, there are many people without friends.
and 3. No, watching the news, you hear of many people committing suicide, all for the same reason; depression. |
