Hi all. I'm most likely going to be appearing on CNN Headline News tomorrow to speak about Wrong Planet and how people with autism connect and communicate online.
You might mention that not every one with the dx is good at computers (since there's that stereotype). I'm not-however I can type online (and speak, offline). Being able to think, feel, and express oneself in words is all one needs (in contrast to having to be skilled at using/understanding computers, etc.) to belong to an online ASD support community. Technological stuff makes my brain freeze hopelessly, my mind can make no sense of it. Yet, when it comes to psychological language-I can think, feel, reflect, express with great comprehension & complexity.
Am quite pleased to hear you'll be on, hope I catch the program-CNN's schedule seems notoriously unreliable (subject to change)-for understandable reasons, but it still thwarts my opportunities to see programs of interest.
