My senior year in high school. My junior year was the time when I really had begun discovering myself and making a lot of friends and feeling comfortable being me, but it was the summer between junior and senior years when I realized the friends I had been making were really not the kinds of people I wanted in my life, and I erased them from it. My senior year was a lot less exciting than the previous one, but a lot more comfortable. I spent time with only two or three very good friends, and went back to being more introverted and solitary, which has always been my natural state, but this time it was with more confidence in my abilities as a writer and my ability to be happy independent from the opinions of others. I guess you could say I grew up, but not in a way that killed my inner childishness, which I treasure. |

Senior year of high school.
I was no longer bullied, and I had someone I could call a friend. _________________ I live my life to prove wrong those who said I couldn't make it in life... |

I would have to say 2nd grade because I had a teacher who understood me and was able to help me.
I also say 11th and 12th grades because once I ditched the facade and hung around with people who liked me for who I was, I found that I could have quite a bit more fun. _________________ Louis J Bouchard

Ninth grade.
And everyone says they hate sixth grade, but that was -my- second favourite. |

If you've read the other (opposite) post in this forum, you've heard me rant a little bit about elementary school. I think my best (favourite) year has to be either tenth grade or this year (I'm twelvth grade now). I really liked tenth grade because I finally found a decent group of friends to hang out with and had some good classes, including accelerated chemistry with one of my favourite teachers of all time. This year is good so far too because I'm only taking a few academic classes and most of my classes are interesting. _________________ Itaque incipet.

| I don't think I can pick one good year. My worst was 7th, but other than that they were all okay. Each year had its good moments and bad moments. Over all, I'd say that high school was good. |

My absolute best year in school was my junior year in college. (You didn't specify what type of school ) During winter semester, I stayed on campus, which was the first time I'd ever been on my own and I had a ball. I went from sharing a room with an 7 year-old and 13 year-old who were unholy terrors, tore up my belongings and never were made to clean up their mess, which I had to do, to sharing a dorm room with a wonderful roomate who couldn't have been more perfect if I picked her myself.
I got to be around others my age and have a fuller college experience, going to activities I couldn't otherwise attend due to transportation issues. I also was saved a commute to class so all I had to do was wake up 15 minutes before class, throw on some clothes......and run....real fast. The classes were much easier to deal with without the distraction of two little kids and a mother who was emotionally abusive and I made the highest grades during that semester.
The skills I taught myself by staying there prepared me to have my own apartment the next semester as it was being on my own without really being on my own, like adulthood....with training wheels. I tell you, when that semester ended and I had to go home until I got my own apartment that July, I wanted to cry my head off. _________________ "There is difference and there is power. Elementry school was quite nice, most kids knew my quirks and knew why I had them so I was rarely made fun of and had a few friends (one of which was quite popular.) Ironically that was the time I had the most violent breakdowns :-/. _________________ "we never get respect ... never a fair trial

Definitely the last year.... Although it was also very frightening afterwards. _________________ www.letsmakeamovie.co.uk - if we don't make it, then we are just an movie that couldn't be bothered to happen. Indifference is a virtue....

| Not sure. I am in the unusual position of being able to say that during primary school i was one of the most popular kids in school. Indeed i invariably got chased by more girls than anyone else in kiss chase. But High School was almost instantly the exact opposite. I would say that Year 11 was probably my best year in high school because i was totally settled in and began to actually talk to people outside my direct group of friends. Year 9 was my worst year as i even managed to isolate myself from my best friends due to my violent actions. |

11th grade. Everything was great except my english teacher who was a bitch and I hate. I still got a B- or so in the class.
If only I had my car on the road by then, it'd be perfect. If my friend didn't move in 12th grade... we'd dominate at Assassians. Hehehe. |
