*Position of Authority*
I have been an Muster Petty Officer and Team Commander for Osbourn Park NJROTC Academic Team. I'm currently the Public Relations Chair of the George Mason University Kumdo Club. Most likely to be the club President or VP for next year. If President then for two years. _________________ Each person gets his or her own freedom and passion one by one

nope, i was in student congress for longer than anyone and still had no power xD... I was horrible at it too, that might have played a role
my bandmates called me the "band nazi" because i was the only one who actually got everyone together and made them practice, and i also was in charge of a 3 person Go club and an Esperanto club which had one meeting...
btw, congrats. and what's kumdo? |

I was the lead member in the physics and engineering team on the mystery event and optics event a few years back.
As for VP,P etc, I've yet to have stuff like that. ><
I'd like to though, at some point. |

| I became Battalion Commander of my Army JROTC senior year in High School.... didn't like it... I liked being the S-4 much better (supply officer - had my own room filled with uniforms and rifles to organize and I could yell at people for not taking care of stuff, and teach the little supply sergeants how to do stuff) I also got to deal with the copy machine (ornery thing) and keep inventory |

I actually became the Academic Team Muster Petty Officer in my junior year which with my best friend, the team commander. I ended up taking charge of the team half the time due the team commander was at a different school and I always stay after school to deal with team affairs and other things. I was the Distinguished Naval Science 3 Cadet Ribbon for just doing my job. I became the team commander the following year had it rough due to very few team practices. I never had a MPO till I asked an Naval Science 1 Cadet at a drill meet which shocked everyone to find that I chose him over different people because he was given little respect at times from other cadets and it remind me of myself in my early cadet career. The team did won a trophy, 2nd Place, at the Regional Drill/PT/Academic Meet which put the Academic Team of Osbourn Park High School NJROTC on the map as some cadets would say it. They even named a trophy after me, the Jerry Holy Academic Team Work Trophy. Ultimately even with AS, I was a great team commander and officer to my unit. _________________ Each person gets his or her own freedom and passion one by one

| Was a board member of our ACM student chapter as a junior and president as a senior. This also gave me the student seat on our faculty board. Also served as vice-chair and head judge when we ran programming contests for high school students. |

Funny thing my senior year i never could pass the pt test until the monday on the same week of Change of Command where I prove myself ultimately to the unit. Former Naval Science Instructor Senior Chief Mayden actually said a good amount of words about me at the dinner since I was mostly likely the best Academic Team Commander that the unit has seen in its years. I still remember him about the decision to name a trophy after me because it is something that give me the feeling of accomplishing something not for myself but the team that I was so dedicated for my last two years in the unit. Out of those 18 tests that the team compete in, I compete in 16 of them as a member not a commander or officer. _________________ Each person gets his or her own freedom and passion one by one

AFJROTC:
Finance NCO -> Flight Sergeant -> Flight Commander -> MSS Commander -> Vice Group Commander
Though I have to agree with kit000003. I preferred MSS to Vice Group. |

I choose my billet because well I'm good at academics so make sense for me. I'm proud of my accomplishments as a team MPO and commander. I would be surprised that the Academic Team Commanders after me are looking up to my achievements and myself as goals for them to set for themselves. _________________ Each person gets his or her own freedom and passion one by one
