This is from the Fresno (CA) Bee:
The Fresno Grizzlies wore navy blue jerseys adorned with multi-colored puzzle pieces on each shoulder to promote autism awareness. After the game, the jerseys were auctioned to fans with proceeds benefitting autism-related charities.

The Florida Marlins used to have an autism awareness night but not this year.

I feel this is a great idea, as quite often people not on the autism spectrum see the word "autism" as a dirty word, some think they do not like to talk about.. so having teams help promote awareness helps others except and see it just as another word, as without talking about, progress will never be made.

Maybe, but maybe not.

There are other autism organizations out there that really do care about us.
