First and only suicide attempt: the ebec11 edition

I'm alive everybody!
After I had posted saying I was going to kill myself, I wrote a suicide letter and took about 80-100 pills (I had 100 more to go). Then I had realized I didn't WANT to die, and flew up the stairs and woke up my mom. She took me to the hospital, and they gave me some black stuff which was really chunky and gross. Then I went to the psych ward at the hospital, and I'm still there (but they gave me a weekend pass so I'm home for the weekend!).
I would have told you I was alive the next day, but I'm not allowed on wrongplanet for a while (Until I'm "better", whenever that is), and I've just convinced my mom to let me come back so I can tell you I'm alive and kicking.
I'll miss you guys a lot, but I agree I need some time off to care for myself.

I'll be checking this board every so often, so don't let it flounder!

I don't know what pills you took but paracetamol is derived from coal tar and coal helps to calm the effect of the pills on the stomach, that's what I was told when I overdosed.
You're valued here and you're a great person (as I've said in many posts) and you can always talk to me if you want as I am going through the same thing. I hope you get better soon

Ebec, I'm glad you didn't kill yourself. I don't even know you, but nonetheless I'd hate to hear about a death here. I support you, and WP supports you. I've made a few attempts at suicide myself, getting more and more nervy every time.

Once, when I was still living in Bramalea, I came very close to opening my wrist with a piece of broken glass. This happened in a parking-garage at the Bramalea City Centre Mall. The loneliness & despair, it felt like more than one man was meant to take. I've cut myself more than a few times, as well. Sometimes on my face, for attention, other times on my arms & body for the therapy of it.

Thank God I'm still here! I can still do something with my life. Certainly, it's not too late. Despite what I once thought, Ebec, it's never too late to turn it all around ...
