Here are the best ways to get a forum moderator's assistance here on Wrong Planet.
1) Post a reply to this threadUse this option for:
- reporting spam attacks
- reporting clearly inappropriate content (e.g. porn)
- reporting misplaced threads
2) Create a new thread in the WrongPlanet.net discussion forumUse this option for:
- site suggestions
- questions about WP that are not covered in the FAQ
3) Send a private message to an active modUse this option for:
- reporting concerns about another member's behavior
- reporting content that may violate the site rules
If you have an urgent concern that should be delivered via PM and you are not certain which moderators are currently online, make a reply to this thread and ask to whom you should write.
PLEASE DO NOT
- Use this section of the forums to gossip or vent about a member, mod, or admin.
- Ask for another person's ban to be lifted. That is an individual's own responsibility.

Ok, this is probably a bug. When does link posting kicks in? Error says 5 legitimate messages and 5 days.
Before this posting I had 5 on the count, but I still can't post links.
Either off by one error, or "legitimate" means something?
Edit: ok, it was an off by one error. After posting this I can post links

I've been trying to start a thread today and I keep getting a message that to prevent spam, it's not going to let me post. Since I'm obviously not a spammer, can somebody fix this? Thanks...

| For some reason my thread "I'm a 4channer, Ask Me Anything" was moved from Random Discussion to Adult Discussion. Most of the thread was not adult in general just the website itself. I would like to know why. |

I am not the one who moved the thread but I would suggest it was moved because of the link to adult content. You never know what an unsuspecting or very curious child will click on.
