I have this choir teacher in my school whom my peers don't really (from my perspective) like but I happen to like. This afternoon, at the end of the sixth period, several kids who are in my class who are also in my choir found copies of this song in the back of our classroom that we really wanted to sing, but our teacher said that she couldn't find copies. They think that she lied to us and they are really mad about it (ironically, I'm not that mad). I know they are probably going to confront her tomorrow and they'll probably want me to join with them too. But as I said before, I actually like this teacher (as a friend, of course) and was thinking about joining the choir that she sings for (which the age range is from high school to retirement) once I graduate.

My question is what do I do?

Do I sit back and see how this all unfolds?

Do I stick up for my teacher or my classmates?

What would my peers think of me if I joined the high school to retirement choir?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

i very much the sitting on the fence type, i'd say the teacher shouldn't have lied or should have looked harder for the song but generally he dose his job well, if anyone asked but i wouldn't jump into anything. but that is just me

i dont know a whole lot about choirs, but if your voluntarily in the school one i doubt your reputation would be seriously affected by joining one outside school

good luck
