Do think its common for aspies to wonder about what type of relationship other people we see together have. I can think of two experiences I've had when I thought about this. Once was a few years ago when I saw a guy and a girl, they were both teenagers together at barnes & noble. They both had handbags (purses) and were holding hands. Last night I was at the mall, I go there once a week and I saw two girls together holding hands, one was short the other tall, then I saw then again about 10 minutes later and another guy was with them, about a tall as the tall girl, all 3 holding hands with the short girl in the middle.

Same here.

Do they conform to any specific trope? Did they meet on the moors or the parapet? Was it a Dark and Stormy Night? Was it a quietly-flowering romance or a bodice-ripping affair? And who is that shadowy figure lurking by the trellis outside their bedroom window?

I wonder stuff like that too. But I kind of wonder about things like that with almost anyone I see. The weirdest things, too, like how long has that person had that shirt, and is that pregnant woman still with the kid's father?
