I have now beaten all Silent Hill games in English, with the exception of Origins.

These are pretty freaky games, and amongst the best ever. However, (and I know people are going to chew me out over this) I prefer Silent Hill 3.

I have 2 and 3 and PLAN on playing them someday but have only beaten the original. My problem with gaming, is that once I start, I can't stop or I will forget what I just did/learned. It can make a long night/day because I am not very good at them. I also loved the original Resident Evil and Parasite Eve but couldn't get past the first games because I realized that they were not a "positive" obsession for me. Maybe when I retire, I will give it another shot.

My favorite is 2 because the story is the best (yay for multiple endings--and yay for the DOG ENDING!), and because it has MOTHERFREAKING PYRAMID HEAD! XD

But 3's got the best graphics by far and it's definitely a good one overall. It's waaaay better than 4, at any rate, though that's not saying much. XD

Having beaten all 4 of them, SH 1 is the best for atmosphere, 3 is scariest, 2 is really good but the plot gets a little messy, 4 was a chore to finish and I hated the story, and I never played origins. 1-3 are the best... even in 2008 SH1 is still worth playing for the story and atmosphere.
