Maybe it wasn't a bird.
Maybe it was a drunk arse pilot trying to taxi around.

| the nose of a commercial jet doesn't usually have to deal with anything worse than high speed wind and rain. slam one into an unlucky goose at 500 or so mph and you're going to do more than scratch the paint. |
