I remember doing this when I was little, I would sit still and when I did so I couldn't feel my body, like my arms and legs. Oh I also used to hold my arm up in the air (like you are raising your hand) for no reason (other than to not feel it) well and it felt good..
I know that this probably has something to do with sensory integration, has or did any of you all do anything like this... _________________ I research therefore, I am.

| hmm.. I raise my arms in the air all the time, sometimes for a couple hours when I am watching a movie. Many people have asked me why I do this, but I have no reason other than I feel strongly compelled to do it. |

Thanks I figured it was something to do with sensory body awareness or something like that... I have tried my sons body sock (don't laugh we are almost the same height) and I can't stand having it on my head freaks me out...
The sensation I get when I do the arms thing is like when you get joint compressions... like this overwhelming calm... do you think I am stimming off of it? _________________ I research therefore, I am.
