The YMBanA thread was what drew me to this site about a year ago and I am hoping to rekindle its awesomeness. It is derivative of Jeff Foxworthy's You Might Be a Redneck (though with a 180 degree twist intellectually ).

You know you're an aspie if . . .

you tape record the billionth episode of "Cheers" that you just HAVE to have recorded, but you record it over the videos of your latest grandchild's "brand new baby" video without realizing it until later.

Yeah, we think it's funny . . . NOW . . .

You see a Deer Crossing sign by the road and wonder how the deer know to cross the road at that particular spot.

. . . if you are watching a movie on TV and they edited it for TV wonder how they knew what size your TV screen was when they edited it . . .

. . .have all sorts of ideas for the weekend and wind up doing only those things to get ready for the work week. (and moderate WP every waking hour!)

You are wondering if the inside of the house in real or not in the movie you're watching and if a inside of a building is the actual inside of the building or did they film the inside elsewhere like in a studio.

You know you are aspie if...

You are watching a movie about a historical figure and you find yourself thinking throughout the whole movie:
"It is well known that his hair was red. I cannot accept this brown-haired actor as [the historical figure]. Why couldn't he have dyed his hair red for the role?"

Whereas it doesnt seem to bother anyone else.

You are 20 years old, can name every actor who was in ABC, NBC, and CBS in 1950 but have no idea who people like brittney spears, jim carrey, adam sandler, etc are


You read the post above and say "wait, are those three the correct stations for 1950? Did they have different names? I better go check"

You can't stop wondering why most are such acters/actrices.
And lying is so wide spread.

You settle down to watch "Where Eagles Dare" and then spend most of the film on the Internet, investigating whether the Germans really did have helicopters in the 1940s.

... when you have to explain to your daughter that, yes, you understand that the mugs on the mug tree next to the cooker will get splashes of bolognese sauce in them if we have them all facing in the same direction, but nevertheless this is how I am going to arrange them, b***h !
