My daughter has introduced me to alternative music, and I cannot get enough of it, though I only to get to hear it in the car and at home alone on rare occasions....I like Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, Chevelle, AFI,Spill Canvas, etc..I am a Huge RUSH Fan, have seen them in concert several times... Laughing I was so surprised to hear that the lead singer of Slipknot is also the lead singer for Stone Sour..he has an incredible voice!

I listen to quite a lot. Heavy Metal, Industrial, Hard Rock, Rock, Alt, etc.
But I also listen to some Dance and Electronica on occasion.
Only rap I listen to is Eminem.

Favourites:
Slipknot, Metallica, Atreyu, Seether, Dope, Nickelback.
Daft Punk, Basshunter, Cascada.

That about sums me up, I guess. Razz

My current obsession is Skinny Puppy. I have their whole discography on my Winamp playlist, and nothing else.

I am in love with country and bluegrass music. I especially enjoy listening to Alison Krauss, both singing and fiddling. Her voice is angelic, and I wish I had her high soprano, no vibrato tone, but unfortunately I have a low alto, nearly tenor range. But I do nail it with the lack of vibrato. And her fiddling, oh what can be said? The things that woman can do with a fiddle! Simply beautiful! Once again, my fiddling skills are lacking, though I am learning. Someday I'll be as good as her, I hope.

No specific style but a few bands I like are: Chiodos, Saosin, Emarosa, Circa Survive, Enter Shikari, The Mars Volta, A Skylit Drive and Sky Eats Airplane, those are the few I can name off my head anyhow.
