I never would have thought he was black, if the news never lied about it.
He looks more like Jewish to me.

Last month my parents that are very political called him Barack HUSSEIN in
conversation and I thought it was a joke. Now I know, That's HIS REAL NAME!

I'm not going to rant about conspiracy theories.
I wasn't watching this information on Youtube. I found it out by myself to be true.
I'm only saying here what I found out is true and proved.
All the news lies around here, they said he was black, and kept his name secret.

His name is three words in Arabic. I haven't found out what they mean yet,
but they mean something. Not like John Doe. More like precolumbian Americans,
which have names like "Red Arrow", "Crazy Horse", "Sitting Bull", etc.

People ask me why this hasn't "come out". It has, or I wouldn't know about it.

So what? He's American, raised in an American environment. He attends church.

I am Muslim. Stop picturing that man as one of us. He's not. There are millions of Arab Christians (belonging to the Coptic and Maronite churches mainly). There are more than a million Arab Jews. Arabs are an ethnic group. Their dominant religion happens to be Islam.

Barrack Hussein Obama is Negroid, with Arab blood. Most Muslims in Nigera have Arab blood due to intermarriage with Arabs traders centuries ago. Arabs themselves are a cacausian group with negroid genes.

Btw, no Muslim likes Obama. He's said so that he will attack Pakistan without Pakistani approval. He said he will increase troop deployment to Afghanistan. All he said is that he will eventually withdraw from Iraq. If there's any presidential candidate Muslims would have supported, it would have been Ron Paul.

If interested, here's a genetic chart: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... rg2007.png

Everyone knows his name is Arabic. You came out with this a year too late. Watch the news.

A little knowledge can be dangerous. No knowledge can be embarassing.

I was under the impression that 'Arab' is an ethno-linguistic group, not a racial group

Yes, however, most "Arabs" have similar genes, from the Berbers to the Bedouins.

Fail.

Still, not as bad as the theory that Obama is ineligible to become President because he was born in Kenya. A friend of mine actually believes this to be true.

I've seen Arabs who looked almost African, all the way to ones that looked more or less like very Semitic Europeans

Does his church hate America or not? If yes, then how can he be a good president?

Why are you so upset about Obama being Arab or black or whatever?

Its my opinion that people who don't want him as president are raciest, and they will make up any ignorant excuse to slander the man.

He says he is christian, so do christians hate america? Even if he is muslim (and there is some support to that), the muslim church is not the problem. It is a small group of muslims who use the faith as a basis to attack others. Just like the christian church during the crusades and inquisition. He also didn't choose his name: it was given to him at birth. And, for the record, I am a white christian woman who is not voting for Obama because I disagree with his policies.

No, it is possible to legitimately disagree with many of the man's policies. I disagree with him on a number of issues, don't really care about him being black, or, if you believe some people, Arab or whatever. I'd have to say that I dislike McCain more than I do Obama, and I'm white. So it seems fair to say that my dislike of Obama is not based primarily on racist tendencies.

Barrack = derived from Hebrew Barukh = Blessed
Hussein = Arabic = Good, handsome one
Obama = Derived from that Luo word "Bam" = "crooked (slightly bent) one".

People outside the west have names which generally have a meaning attached to it. For example, my name is Minhaj [the (correct) way of] Ahmed (highly praised) Khan (leader).

People in the west also have many names with meanings. For example, Benedict is the Latin version of Barukh.

Barack = Benedict = Benedict Arnold

I rest my case

Pfft, my given name is derived from English and means a purveyor of goods, or keeper of provisions. I'm no shopkeeper.

My middle name is derived from Greek and means "defender of men" but I'm no warrior.

My last name, though inherited from Italy, was distorted either by some mistake by immigration officials or by a deliberate choice to a different name that would, by freak coincidence, register as originating in Scotland or Ireland. The original Italian name refers to a specific location where an ancient ancestor of mine in patrilinear descent presumably lived, the coincidental Irish name that was accidentally created from it means "little black one."

Now, I am not English, Greek, or Italian. I am predominantly Scottish and Irish (meaning Celtic, not Anglo-Saxon) in ethnic background. Though my surname would register as Irish/Scottish, that is only by accident and the name was inherited from an Italian a couple generations back. There are also many Spaniards with a similar last name.

People who try to read to much into the literal meaning of names are morons. Dissecting the meaning of my name tells you nothing about me- I am not a keeper of provisions, a defender of men, or someone from a particular location in the southern parts of Italy. Nor is the accidental Gaelicization of my surname of any value- "little black one?" Nope, I'm about as white as they come, and of average size.
