Handwriting--- Am I the only one?

Am I the only one whose handwriting has gotten significantly worse over the years due to typing? I was once complimented on my penmanship years ago but during the last few years, my handwriting is becoming more and more illegible due to the fact that I prefer to type. Is there anyone else who fits this description?

I never had a good handwriting

My handwriting has gotten gradually worse over the years. Now it's to the point where I can barely read it! I also used to get compliments as a kid, but age, tendonitis, & needing to take notes quickly, have all taken their toll on my handwriting skills.

My handwriting has sucked my whole life and yet oddly in College the teachers could read it LOL! (Elementary was like an I on my report card AKA Incomplete) Of course with typing I type so fast one teacher asks me whether I had Dyslexia I said no. Since I had alot of mistakes my other teacher understood and when I turned in my paper she put a Post It Note saying " Very thorough but have someone check for grammatical errors" (I liked that instead of getting handed a C or F) She actually read it instead of just slapping a bad grade. The English 1 and 2 teachers IMO focused on grammar too much while the Psychology teacher was able to look BEYOND THAT!

My handwriting was always fine enough, apart from my habit of insisting on using overly blunt pencils in primary school, which made it unlegible. It has deteriorated over the years since I started typing and writing less than I did at school. As has my spelling on paper, which is very strange since it's fine when I'm typing and near perfect during my school years. I also swing between writing in detached and joint letters in a single sentance.

Over the summer I have changed mine to a cursive form so it's easier for me to write quickly enough in exams. Starting anew with handwriting gave me an opportunity to make it however I liked, and today practically everyone who sees my handwriting compliments, or is very fascinated. It has an old-fashioned quality.

My writing was never great. Someone made a comment that I had man-hand writing not even a year ag0!

As a child I always had issues with handwriting and if fluctuated wildly: It's too small to read; It's too large; It's too curly. In HS I took the first of many Architecture courses. One othe first things we were taught was to standardize our writing style so that it was universally readable. I still print everything as though it were going on a document or drawing- kinda like comic book writing.

I'm sure my handwriting's worse and I'm having more problems with it. I've always had pain in my hand and arm when writing but it's worse now. After a couple minutes, everythings a scribbly mess.

I used to have decent handwriting but has gotten incredibly worse in the past years due to a genetic collagen disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome).

My sixth-grade teacher complained I wrote like chicken scratch. He was right. And I think that through the years my typing probably has made my "chicken scratch" writing even a little more unreadable than it was in sixth grade.

mine tends to be too swingin lol
