Is anyone here also fascinated with Flickering lights and spining objects?

I love staring at flickering lights - like christmas tree lamps or this funny, shining orange light at the top of construction vehicles... Also movement. I enjoy when objects spin... I was recently in the science museum in Zurich, Switzerland and they had there this exibition of huge geometrical, spatial shapes (cubes and cuboids and prisms) which were placed on the special machine, so they were spining... It was absolutely amazing!

I heard that this is an AS symptom. I can't relate to it much though. But have you heard of the Dream Machine?

Spinning Objects and anything that has a repetitive motion- yes.
except blinking lights. Those hurt me.

I hate stores where there are loads of CRT screens of any sort, the flickering would bother me as they all go in time, in sync. I hate flashing lights. Either on or OFF ...

I lurk about EDM parties. I love the darkness with the timed lighting. Its soothing in some ways. Otherwise I don't care much for lights, especially bright lights.

It seems like lights seem to flicker around me in some closed areas these days.

There are fascinating - to an extent.

Epilepsy :-/ lights are a bit troublesome for me.

I am COMPLETELY fascinated by motion of any kind, the transference of kinetic energy, inertia, I learned how to use nun-chucks simply so I could gain a better understanding of how inertia works as well as to watch them spin lightly in my hands. I even used the hand flip moves to keep them spinning, I actually managed to connect every single move I could think of while keeping them moving and rolling them over the backs of my hands, it was quite the obsessions for a while.

I also like any kind of fluid movement, taking a ball or similar and spinning it and watching it rotate and roll around in circles, just anything that looks smooth. I just find that kind of movement beautiful.

depends on what they're on. For example, if they're on a cop car, it means my insurance is going to go up...;)

Certain lights hurt me too, You know. But there are those types of lights which are quite amusing and interesting... As I mentioned before :D

Oh, gosh - I hate the sreens too! Like in some stores or malls, right? There are this departments with dozens of TV screens, showing the same images, the same moving pictures; and this cacophonic sounds... Wrrrr  I alway cloe my eyes, cover my ears and run away from a place like taht...

Too overwhelming.

i can spend hours playing with video feedback, which is an excellent combination of flickering lights, spinning objects, and chaos math.

I loovvee glowing flashing spinning .. all of it! :D

My bedroom at my moms house had multicolored pastel christmas lights bordering the entire ceiling, doorway and window as well as a string of purple christmas lights wrapped around a big tall lamp, glow in the dark stars covering the ceiling, a black light, 2 fiber optic lamps and a lava lamp.
