There's probably been a plethora of other threads like this...but they've all been lost to the ravages of time...So I thought I'd create a Sticky. Smile

I don't consider myself particularly artistic, but I do enjoy creating stuff in Adobe Photoshop, like my Avatars:

I've put all my "art" work HERE, be warned, probably not for the dial-up user... Most of it is Star Trek based, as that is my thing. And alot of it was created for a Star Trek email roleplay org I'm in. (the site itself is for that)

Other items not listed there:
http://geocities.com/bourqie/ScienceLabs/SciLabV2.gif
A floor plan created to depict one of the Science Labs on the "SIM" I role play on.

http://geocities.com/bourqie/Gryphin/GryphinSpecs.htm
(geocities site, beware ads... Rolling Eyes )
A shuttle craft I designed. I had a bare skeleton base to work with for the side views, but the details, interiors, top down view, etc I did all pixel-by-pixel. Took me about 6 months I think.

http://geocities.com/bourqie/logos/Delta-Test-Logo.jpg
Another logo

http://geocities.com/bourqie/logos/BetaPoster.jpg
Another logo as well.

So what's your art?

I've tried to upload to the Gallery before..but it didn't work Sad

Plus, this is more a place to discuss the art, send the link, describe it, and let the comments flow Wink

If it's OK by you, Galileo, here is a selection of my political stuff.

This is me and Mikey last year when things were going better for us. He does choose to fall asleep at the most inconvenient times, though.

This is "Crossing over into Notting Hill" - nothing to do with the film. Basically it's a version of a Soviet short story about the revolution, set in British Politics of 2004. It immediately precedes the above picture; no wonder he was tired, he'd just had an operation to remove the stake.

Notting Hill 1
Notting Hill 2
Notting Hill 3

(I'm the one in the pink nightdress. I got rid of the fangs in May when Mikey and I were both redeemed by the General Election. The final sentence should read "And where else would you find another father like this?")

That's an incredible site you have there, Serissa...are you a professional artist?

this *is* what the gallery is for Rolling Eyes

I've given up on the gallery. I have enough frustration in my life. Plus I like all my stuff to stay in the gallery I mentioned; eaiser to keep track of.

The gallery is oddly set up...alas, I suck at art. Although there is a little weird doodling-type thingy I do in school when bored, it's kind of trippy so I might try scanning it I'm allowed to use the scanner. It's a bunch of curvy lines, but it's sort of interesting I've been told.

I'm doing an animation degree,
That is drawn, painted, computer, anything.

my goal is to do stuff about what it's like to be an aspie and to help people understand the planet we live on, and the problems we face. I've got a few ideas and I'd love to hear yours everyone. It could be a wrong planet group collaberation, 3000 heads are better than one.

Also how can I make my stuff available for viewing on WP?
Do I have to have a web site or is there an easier solution.
How do I do that?

P.S My avatar is a sculpture I made out of sponge, fur and string.

I think the easiest solution would be posting your work on an external website and sending the link Smile

Here's mine:

It's not either for the dial up connection, so in that case I suggest you begin about here:

Hope you enjoy it! Smile
