The theory, can be viewed as a bunch of circles, that connect. Or, better, one circle inside another, etc.
The centre would be 'normal', as in, it is not funny, does not provoke anything except safety. A car is normal, and thus not funny.
As we go away from the centre, we go deeper into strangeness. Once we leave the center ring, we enter the funny circle. Inside are things we find strange, but normal enough to not to be afraid. An orange/purple striped car. It's weird. Some find it funny. Others have it in the normal-zone.
The grey-zone. Here are those we won't laugh at, but find it funny. Like ret*ds. Many people might find them funny, but don't show it, because it's mean, or something like that.
Then we have the weird. These things are too far away from normal to be funny, but we don't fear it. Like, cancer, for those who don't know anyone with it. Most of us will not find it funny. But it's not normal for us either.
The bizzare. This is the place where the horrors lie. They are so abnormal, you will fear them. Example- A guy walks into a place full of children, and f***s them to death with knifes, while dressed as a clown. Most people would find it repulsive.
Why do I always say 'most'? That is because some of us have bigger circles. Guy-A finds a guy falling from a tree funny, Guy-B doesn't. Guy-B finds a guy cock-slapping people to death funny, Guy-a doesn't.
Agon wanted me to show you this, so I did.
If someone can find a name for it, I'll... thank him, or something.
