Im tired of playing runescape, club penguin, and neopets. Does any one know any good MMORPGS that dont have to be downloaded or have to pay to play?

I don't think any MMO's exist like that. Are you just looking for a game to play online? You might want to check out some of the online card games that esist, you can play things like hearts and poker with people all over the world.

A google search for "free online browser mmorpg" will net you more options than you'll ever get bored of.

Well have you heard of Gaia online, I am pretty sure that it is non donloadable, it itself is a pretty big MMO, but not realy a RPG, but they have recently started a RPG, which uses your avatar from the other part of Gaia for what your character looks like. Though I myself found it a bit tedious doing so much work so I dont know all the little stuff.

Before marketing created the term MMORPG, there were plenty of free text-based MUDs and MOOs about. Nothing to download on those - just use the built in telnet client.

If you dont want to download anything, that limits your options quite a bit. That leaves you with java applet mmo's like runescape and the like, or those lame php games that have recently gotten insanely popular on myspace and everywhere else. However, if you dont mind reading and typing a lot... you could try a MUD. although it doesnt fit the "massive" part of mmorpg. so i guess itd be more of a morpg. My personal favorite is Shattered World which you can play by using telnet(comes standard on windows... just click start, run, type cmd) to connect to shattered.org. Youd type telnet shattered.org in the cmd prompt. theres also a mudlisting site that shows what I imagine to be nearly all muds out there. www.mudconnector.com

I think most of you are misunderstanding shugo's request. "Does any one know any good MMORPGS that dont have to be downloaded or have to pay to play?"
