Yeah, this is fairly close to me (geographically) and has made quite a storm on the local papers. _________________ I stand alone on the cliffs of the world. |

She must have been mostly dead, not all dead. There is a difference. When you're mostly dead, your body is still operating on some level.

| I don't know much about pregnancies, but would two days really have made a difference? I suppose pumping the steroids in to develop the baby's lungs was necessary, though. |

| The mother could not have been completely dead. She must have been just brain-dead. Her body must still have been warm, the blood still flowing in her veins ... |

| It said in the article that she was on assistance, of course she couldn't be dead, the baby would die due to a lack of oxygen at the least. They kept her body alive, and thats all. |

Seriously?
You can't even think of a single reason why it might f ck up a kids mind just a little to know that their mommy was brain-dead days before they were born?

is clinically dead the equivilent to brain dead or actually dead?
i still think it's amazing how a baby can be born without the mother being able to interact. _________________ most people think i'm a bit strange, even abnormal. normal is the majority, the average, what is most frequent. if you lived around here, you'll see the positive of not being normal |

No no it's "mostly dead"
