Are there female versions of those sub-types? Can I meet them if there are?

thanks GIRLS,

smilyme: good post!

after a long 'scan' with serious pondering, had to decide on Angry Boy - me
but i have seen this more often:
somehow they all seem to fit somehow
and that makes this very interesting indeed

Fo-Rum: valid & important point, but that's just the imperial reach of statistics,
i would be interested to see how this would divide among all auti girls and boys:
where would you fit best

maybe list a top three of id's, in which case i would say:

1. Angry Auti
2. Anxiety Auti
3. OCD Auti
(where did i leave the Fantasy Auti???)

this would make for an interesting Quiz were the result would be presented in percentages of the type-aspects

Nice article, interesting perspective.

But it doesn't correspond completely with what I've read so far about Asperger. I have the impression that the author who proposes this classification has a broader scope of development issues in mind than just Asperger in the way it's usually characterised. For example, with ADHD I've read before that it's completely unrelated to Asperger (which makes sense to me intuitively).

But maybe it's not a matter of right or wrong, but more a matter of definition, I don't know.

What do you think?

The main line of this article is, "The child needs to be put on drugs."

I could also write the "Parents and other adults the child is reacting to."

If you see a little girl with a doll take it away from her and use it to force her to obey you.

Remember, everything is the child's fault, O' Perfect parent.

Drug, restrict, control, and beat them till they love jesus.

I'm a Passive-type Rule Boy.
I am also a Fantasy Boy.

Interesting, but I wish they'd quit with the sexism. Seeing the word "boy" is uncomfortable for me.

I may be a Paranoid, Anxiety or Fantasy... boy.

I haven't even read all of the subtypes yet, but I don't even need to. As soon as I read the "innocent/passive rule type," I was, like, "That's me!" Laughing That could have been written about me, it was so accurate... Scary... I also fit "OCD emotion type," but that's because I have comorbid OCD. For my AS, I'm much more better described by the "innocent/passive rule type."

I cannot slot myself, nor anyone I know with AS/autism, into any of those categories.

I'm probably a mix of innocent/passive rule type, ADHD type (even though I don't have that I am really disorganised), negative type and fantasy type
